The headline numbers
As of today, padelyeti tracks 917 padel venues across the UK and Ireland: 770 open and 147 in the opening pipeline. The open venues operate 2,642 courts between them, spread across 536 towns and cities. In the UK alone (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) there are 711 open venues with 2,468 courts; the Republic of Ireland adds 59 venues and 174 courts.

Indoor, outdoor and covered
Of the courts where we have a verified indoor and outdoor breakdown, 1,211 are indoor, 877 are outdoor and 312 are covered outdoor courts. Indoor and covered capacity is where the fastest growth is happening, for the simple reason that British and Irish weather does not respect court bookings.
The growth pipeline
A further 147 venues are currently under construction or publicly announced, with 573 courts planned between them. If everything in the pipeline opens, the court stock grows by roughly 22 percent. Track them all on our opening soon page.
