Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have.

Last updated: 29 July 2026

1. Who we are

padelyeti.com is operated by Coded North Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16013325). Coded North Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy query, please use our contact page.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use padelyeti.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights. It does not cover the practices of third-party websites or booking platforms you may visit via links from our Site; please check their own privacy policies.

3. Information we collect

We collect personal data only where you choose to provide it to us, specifically:

  • Contact form submissions: your name, email address, the topic you select, and your message.
  • Venue reports and suggestions: the details of the issue or suggestion you submit, and, if you choose to provide it, an email address so we can follow up.
  • Basic, anonymous usage analytics via Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. It measures aggregate things like page views and referral sources without tracking individuals across sites.

We do not require you to create an account or log in to browse the Site, so for the vast majority of visitors we hold no personal data about you at all.

4. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to: respond to your enquiries and messages; investigate and action venue reports and corrections; process venue claim requests; and improve the accuracy and usefulness of the Site. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. Legal basis for processing

Where you contact us or submit a report, we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you and maintaining accurate listings, and, where relevant, to take steps at your request before entering into arrangements with you (for example, claiming a listing). You can ask us to stop processing your data at any time via our contact page.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which is designed not to use cookies and not to collect personal data, so no cookie consent banner is required for this. We do not run advertising and do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes in future, we will update this policy and seek consent where required by law.

7. Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us run the Site (such as our database and hosting providers), who process data on our behalf and are contractually required to keep it secure and use it only for the purposes we specify. We may also disclose personal data if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of padelyeti, our users, or others.

8. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK and European Economic Area. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses, in line with UK GDPR requirements.

9. Data retention

We retain contact form submissions and venue reports for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your enquiry or the issue reported, and thereafter for a limited period in case of follow-up, after which we delete or anonymise it. Analytics data collected via Plausible is aggregate and not linked to identifiable individuals.

10. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: request access to the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; object to or restrict our processing of your data; and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via our contact page. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have not handled your data properly.

11. Children

padelyeti is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us via our contact page and we will remove it.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
